Cushion Covers Graced with Indian Art Forms

Nothing competes with cushions in comfort . Cushions not only help support our backs but also brighten up a room. If you are one of us that means you refresh your cushion covers every so often for a new look of your room. So, today we have rounded up a list of three different types of cushions at three different price points. Take a look at what’s in store:

Fabindia’s Humza Cotton Embroidered Cushion Cover | Buy Now
Adorned with Gudri embroidery, this cushion cover is patched using multi colour hand printed scraps held together by running stitches. It has got adorable yet subtle tassels at the edges. This one will certainly enliven a muted sofa or a dull room. The material is cotton and is strictly supposed to be hand-washed. It’s a cute square size of 40 cm.
Price- Rs. 490 each

Okhai Dimmet Hand Embroidered Cushion Cover | Buy Now
This has been conceptualised with quite some detail in mind about ‘dimmet’ or ‘dusk.’ Imagine the time when the sun has just set and you can see the moon as well as stars twinkle in the sky. That’s what the cushion is supposed to remind you of. Place this next to your coffee table or on a chair next to the window to enjoy evening serenity like never before. Crafted in soft cotton by female artisans, the only downside of this cushion is that it’s not been made clear if it's made with plant-based dyes or not.
Price- Rs. 550 each

Good Earth Almora Silk Ikat Cushions | Buy Now
This cushion is a piece of art. The embroidery on ikat silk is inspired by the Valley of Flowers in the Himalayas, delicate wildflowers blossom on a charcoal hued ikat cushion. You will be able to trace motifs of blue poppies, magnolias, and rhododendrons on the silk. It features a striking striped piping and comes with its own insert. The polyfill insert is however, a disheartening drawback when compared to the otherwise sustainable cushion cover. But the cover is all kinds of beautiful.
Price- Rs. 6200 each
