Changes at Home 2.0

This is the second time we are suggesting changes at home. There are some things about our houses that are so ubiquitous that we seldom think they require any change. Today, we want to talk about two such things. First on the list is transparent plastic bags used to store vegetables at home. The second one is plastic ear buds which come in plastic packaging to clear earwax. Both of these objects are hard to recycle as they are not lucrative enough for recyclers. Plus, they leech toxins and microfibres in the environment when dumped. Read on to know what could be their alternatives.

But to be able to refuse plastic bags we need something to segregate those veggies while buying them. We are here to tell you that you can avoid plastic by going for Geosmin Vegetable and Produce Cotton Bags. They come in a pack of 2 large and 3 medium sized pouches. They are safe for refrigeration as well.

It was such a sad and disturbing sight. That’s why Beco has come out with earbuds with a twist. Their earbuds have a recycled paper rod and 100% cotton buds. Each cotton swab aims to reduce marine pollution while keeping your ears squeaky clean.
Both these items are indispensable for your household and it’s about time we make such changes as they are harming our fellow beings so much. Let us know which change do you feel pressed to make first and if it’s time for you to shop sustainable!
